To create a new customer, go to the Customers page and click the Add New button. You’ll see the following page:
Start by filling in the Customer Details section, which includes:
- Email: The email address associated with the customer. This is where the status update notifications will be sent, and will also be the email address they will have to input if you have the Email Verification setting enabled.
- Sales Rep: Set a default sales rep to be associated with this customer.
- Customer WP Username: Use this to associate this customer with an existing WordPress user account. For more info, please see here.
Don’t forget to click the Save Customer button at the top when you are done.
The Customer Orders section displays all orders that are currently assigned to this customer.
